Audine and Joos absolutely love their cat children, and their cattery was establised in 1997.

They are a member of the Maine Coon Interest Group of South Africa.  They have a breeding programme for their Maine Coon cats. Audine has always loved cats and used to breed Manx while her mother bred Siamese cats.

• their cats are bred in different colours
• their Maine Coon’s have done exceedingly well in cat shows
• the cattery is fairly large which includes some imported Maine Coon’s
• their cats are continuously tested for FIV, FelV and Polycystic Kidney Disease
• all kittens are examined at eight weeks of age
• kittens are innoculated and de-wormed – an innoculation certificate is also given to the new owners
• kittens are registered in the name of the new owner’s choice – kittens are registered at the Cat Federation of Southern Africa

• Lamaska’s breeding program conforms to the South African Standard of Points – a veterinary practitioner checks the kittens out for diseases before they leave for new homes
• Lamaska breeds Oriental and Siamese cats and have been doing so since 1996
• they have imported some of their breeding cats

• their cats are show cats
• their kittens are always health and disease free
• before leaving for new homes, kittens are either neutered or spayed
